The 21st century is witnessing a rapid increase in scholarly publications which is available in many forms and formats. The developments in Information & Communication Technology (ICT) has led to new ways of scholarly publications. These developments gave an impetus to the institutes particularly academic institutes, to build an Institutional Repository (IR) to host its own intellectual output for the wider access to the global community at free of charge. Institutional Repositories (IRs) are increasingly becoming an integral part of the academic institutes. It is a platform to promote the visibility and impact of the institute's scholarly research to the wider community.
