This book is an outcome of papers presented in various conferences held in many parts of the world, related to society, ethics and values. Seniors, women, children, workers, transgender and people of Lower strata, Dalits and many others deserve better treatment. Their basic rights are not well recognized. They face physical, emotional, financial, psychological and even sexual abuses. These aspects are given importance in some of the papers. The Rights of Children, Women and gender equality are important in a good society. Ethical values are very much attached to them. Water, food and shelter are basic necessaries of life. There must be safety and security in utilizing these needs. But a deeper study reveals that there are violations of ethical values in people getting these necessaries of life.
